Months of Life - Memento Mori Chart
Memento Mori translates to “remember you must die”. This exercise is to help you remember and to visualize how much life you might (or might not) have left. It’s the average life represented - 960 months.
There are 32 columns and 30 rows, with a total of 960 boxes. Find the box that represents your age by cross indexing the left column with the top row. Color that box and all the boxes in the same row to the left and all the rest of the rows above. The remaining blank boxes are how many months you have left based on average life expectancy.
This chart isn't meant to scare you, rather inspire you to take advantage of the time you have left, and create urgency to do the things you want to do. For maximum impact, print the chart and hang it on your fridge, mirror, or somewhere you look every day.
